Making Warcraft 3 Image

I've seen a post mentioning a successful attempt at making a Warcraft 3 image. Any suggestions on what settings to use? I have Virtual CD 3 right now and downloaded the 4.3 Demo to see if it could make a good image before upgrading.

Default settings should work, even in V4.0.4

I've got a perfectly working Warcraft 3 image from V4.0.4, before I upgraded (yesterday) to 4.32 and it works fine.

The image was built with default settings -
Fast Sector Read
Correct Bad Sectors
Fast Detection of Bad Sectors
1x repeat reads
No Compression

It came out at about 632MB, I've never seen something (I've got about 60+ game CD's ranging from brand new to around 1995/1996) that VCD has failed to make work or wasn't fixed after the problem was reported :)

Good luck!

Warcraft 3

I made the warcraft 3 image and installed it off of vcd (i have v4.0.2) but whenever i try to run it it says "Please verify that your Warcraft III disc is in your CD-ROM drivem then click retry" when i insert the virtual cd it will give me the autorun sceren, but when i try to play it gives me that same message

Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?

Try downloading a demo version of Virtual CD version 5.

The following Knowledge Base article should be of help.
